Fire Pit Options
Looking to design a custom outdoor gas fire pit for your backyard or patio? Yard Couture offers an extensive range of fire pit options covering every fuel type, material, size, and finish. Whether you are drawn to the clean convenience of natural gas, the flexibility of propane, or the authentic crackle of a wood fire, we have a configuration to match your lifestyle and space. All fire pits are made to order in the USA — allow 4 to 6 weeks lead time to ensure your fire pit arrives ready for the season.
Fuel Options
We offer three fuel types across our fire pit collection:
Natural Gas — Natural gas fire pits connect directly to your home's existing gas line for a permanent, zero-maintenance installation. All hardware is concealed within the base for a clean, finished look. Available with match-lit or electronic ignition. Ideal for permanent patio and deck installations.
Propane — Propane fire pits offer the same premium designs with the flexibility of a portable fuel source. Models are available with a standard BBQ tank connection or a liquid propane line connection. Many designs include a hidden tank compartment in the base. Propane fire pits burn clean and smoke-free and can often be converted to natural gas at a later time.
Wood Burning — For those who prefer the authentic smell and sound of a real wood fire, our wood burning fire pits are available in unpainted mild steel and Corten steel. Wood burning models are more affordable and require no gas connection, though they do produce smoke and require manual lighting. Not available with painted or powder-coated finishes due to heat variability.
Ignition Options
Match Lit (Key Valve) — A pre-installed match-lit gas kit with an adjustable key valve, manifold, flex hose, and fittings. Simple, reliable, and no electrical connection required.
Electronic Pilotless Ignition — A stainless steel self-contained control box mounted within the fire pit body. Requires a 110V GFCI outlet and gas line. Note: electronic ignition models come standard with a lid, and the warranty is not valid unless the lid is used when the fire pit is not in operation.
Material Options
Aluminum — Marine-grade powder-coated aluminum is lightweight, rust-resistant, and ideal for coastal or humid climates. Available in a wide range of powder coat colors with low to no VOC emissions. Aluminum fire pits are made from recycled material and are an excellent choice for environmentally conscious buyers.
Corten Steel — Corten weathering steel develops a rich, self-protecting rust patina over time. Heavy-gauge 14-gauge construction. Available in natural rust finish only. Note: Corten will transfer color to light-colored or porous surfaces.
Mild Steel — Hot-rolled mild steel offers an affordable option with the same contemporary industrial aesthetic. Ships in its raw state and continues to patina over time. Available in natural rust finish only.
Hammered Copper — Hand-crafted from 16-gauge copper with a living patina that develops and changes with outdoor exposure. A distinctive, high-end option for luxury outdoor spaces.
Top and Surround Options
Granite Top — 3/4-inch thick ultimate black granite with a honed finish and a 1/2-inch reveal between the granite and the top edge of the fire pit. Available on Linear, Cylinder, Block, Rectangle, and Propane Fire Table models. Note: the granite top is assembled in four pieces with seams to allow for thermal expansion.
Glass Surround — 1/4-inch thick tempered glass with machined aluminum hardware. Available on Block, Rectangle, Linear Gas Fire Pit, and Propane Fire Table models.
Fire Tables
A fire table combines the warmth of a live flame with the functionality of an outdoor dining or cocktail table. Guests can sit directly at the table with the fire burning in the center, making it the ultimate outdoor entertaining piece. Available in powder-coated steel and aluminum with a range of stone table top options including granite. Fire tables are available in natural gas and propane configurations.
