Fire glass depth for Gas Fire Pits
If you have a natural or propane gas fire pit, fire glass is a nice feature to add a unique and beautiful look. With the flame burning above fire glass, you outdoor fire pit will be a stunning centerpiece to your deck or patio. When it comes to fire glass depth, the most common way to know that the glass is sufficient is to fill the fire tables burner pan up. It is recommended to use at least 2”-4” of fire glass depth for the majority of fire pits and fire tables whether they are rectangular, square or circular. Any more may inhibit the sparkle of the glass and limit the flame height.
