Square Taper Planter

The classic design tall tapered planter will add a nice accent piece to any in or outdoor patio. This planter works great for placement in entryways or in combination to complement other style planters.This high quality hand-crafted metal planter is manufactured with attention and care, producing a flawless finish every time. The Taper Planter can be constructed from multiple metal options, choose for a quality marine grade aluminum, a heavy gauged mild steel or corten (weathering steel). The two steel options will come in their natural raw state and when left out in the elements will begin to develop and patina into a unique bronze rust finish.

Aluminum

The aluminum used to fabricate the Taper Planters is manufactured out of a premium marine grade 5052 aluminum. Marine grade aluminum is light weight, durable, a rust free low maintenance material. This aluminum alloy will not rust even in corrosive environments. Choose from 8 standard powder coat finishes to fit your design needs.

Corten Steel

Corten, or also called "weathering steel", planters are made from 14 gauge thick steel. Corten steel is commonly used in architecture, because of its unique rustic appearance and durable weathering characteristics. This long lasting material is made for all types of outdoor environments, especially for commercial projects. The Corten tapered planter will arrive in a natural un-rust finish and will start to patina right away continuing to rust and develop with time.

Mild Steel

Mild steel planters are made from .074” thick hot rolled mild steel. Mild steel offers a very durable yet cost effective solution, is valued for its unique rustic appearance, and will continue to patina and change over time. Mild steel planters are available only in a natural rust patina finish.

Note: Natural rust patina metals will transfer color to light colored or porous surfaces. They are not recommended in areas where surface staining is a concern.

The tall taper planters come standard with 1”drain holes. This metal planters is designed to be directly planted into, and does not require grow pots or liners. Please let us know at the time of order if you do not want drain holes or need custom drainage options.

The Tapper Planter is made to order and has a 2-3 week lead time.

Powder Coated Aluminum and Natural Rust Steel products have a 5 year limited warranty on their structure. The finish on the Powder Coated Aluminum containers have a 3 year limited warranty. The warranty on wood products is 1 year. In the event of a warranty claim, the owner will be required to provide proof of purchase and a sales receipt verifying the date. The Manufacturer, at its option, may repair or replace the product to good working condition by using new or refurbished components. If repair is not possible, we will replace or refund the items when applicable. We reserves the right to inspect the product prior to replacement or repair.
